How does it work?
Our priority is to take the headache out of your move. With your own Removal Coordinator assigned to your move, our team will do the ‘heavy lifting’ so you can focus on life in your new home.

We’ll arrange a personal survey to provide you with a bespoke removals plan and a complete quote.
Step 3
Choose the removals package that’s right for you.
Step 4
When you’re ready, we’ll book in your dates (if you think your dates might be busy, you can be added to our preferential list). And if your dates move don’t panic, we’ll be as flexible as possible to help make your move happen.
Step 5
On moving day, our team will arrive and work to make your move as easy as possible.

Our History
1831
The Royal Military Academy is established in Sandhurst.
1857
Richard Parnell Over opens a drapery in the growing settlement of ‘New Town’ close to the academy. The town is later renamed ‘Yorktown’.
1878
The first railway station opens in the newly renamed Camberley. Over’s begin supplying furniture and using the furniture delivery vehicles to assist with house removals.
1907
A fire destroys Over’s shop which is rebuilt by local architects the Poulter brothers.
1960s
Over’s Department Store moves to new purpose-built premises on the corner of High Street and Park Street (now occupied by Primark).
1980s
The store closes its doors for the last time but the removals company, now one of the oldest in the UK, continues to serve Surrey, London and the South.
1992
After a terrible fire destroys large parts of Windsor Castle, Over’s are one of just two companies asked to remove salvaged and saved items for Queen Elizabeth II.
1995
It’s not just Her Majesty, rock stars, movie legends, TV faces and MPs all regularly call on Over’s to help move them and their families.
2012
Over’s joins The Armishaws Group of removal companies.
2020
Over’s and other group members commit to a tree planting program as part of a company-wide Eco Pledge, with a target of 5,000 trees in 5 years.
2023
1,000+ trees, 2,000+ saplings, 6,000+ hedging bushes all planted, the group begins a rewilding scheme and sets a new target of 50,000 trees.
